Riverside provide consultancy services to a major infrastructure project being completed on a site contaminated with asbestos.

Our Role

We advise the client in all aspects of managing the risk from asbestos during the project and provide services to assist and evidence affective control measures.

This includes: asbestos project management, asbestos air testing, asbestos surveys, asbestos awareness training and general consultancy services (including Legionella).

Land contaminated with asbestos can, if not properly managed, cause delays, expense and a high risk to operatives. Our years of experience allows us to work closely with our clients to minimise the impact on the project and the risk to health.

Our Solution

We have a dedicated project manager who oversees all operations on site and meets regularly with the project team, staying fully up to date with project progress offering advice at each stage.

We have provided training to our clients site operatives so that they understand the hazard and importantly the control measures that keep them safe.

We have completed surveys as required and provided constant air monitoring throughout the project.

Our site operatives have been trained in site specific health and safety concerns including BESC and PERSONS training.

We have been flexible in our service providing analysts and project managers at short notice during periods of 24 hour cover 7 days a week.
