Using hazardous substances in the workplace can put people’s health at risk. The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations was created to protect workers’ health and covers the majority of chemical and biological agents encountered in the workplace.

The HSE estimate that in the UK 2.1 million people were suffering from work related illness and 34 million working days are lost as a result. Furthermore, 1028 were prosecuted by the HSE and 354 were prosecuted by the local authorities.

LEV Testing

We provide independent LEV testing of LEV systems in accordance with Regulation 9 of COSHH and carried out by BOHS P601 trained staff.

We work with you to ensure that you are compliant and that your workplaces are safe and productive.

Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems capture and remove air contaminants at the point they are being produced before they escape into the workplace.
