We provide consultancy assistance in controlling the risk from both asbestos and legionella in the substation property stock.
As well as ensuring the client fulfills their legal duties and achieves compliance with UK regulations and guidance, we work with them to ensure this is carried out in a sensible and cost effective way.
Our role includes: asbestos surveys, asbestos re-inspections, asbestos air testing, asbestos training, legionella risk assessment, legionella monitoring, legionella sampling, legionella training and general consultancy.
We have taken a great deal of time in understanding the individual challenges, restrictions and problems faced by the client in managing a very large and technically challenging property stock.
We have trained our operatives in electrical safety and put them through the authorisation process for substation entry. This means we can work safely, competently and unescorted, making service provision cheaper and easier for our client.
We have also adopted the client’s software for data management and provide advice and assistance in implementing general efficiencies across all stages; quoting, planning, data management and invoicing.
We have provided awareness training to the client’s team and also to interested third parties in understanding the risks from asbestos and legionella.
Our project managers and project teams have developed strong relationships with the client’s staff to ensure that we are working together in the most productive way.
"...we have been highly satisfied with the service and support they have provided and would have no hesitation in recommending them."
Riverside are contracted to a main contractor providing consultancy on a Highways Agency project covering nearly 1,000 kilometers of carriageway.
