14 Month LEV Testing


We provide independent LEV testing of LEV systems in accordance with Regulation 9 of COSHH and carried out by BOHS P601 trained staff.

We work with you to ensure that you are compliant and that your workplaces are safe and productive.

Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems capture and remove air contaminants at the point they are being produced before they escape into the workplace.

Compliance - COSHH Regulation 9


Regulation 9 of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 (as amended) requires all control measures to reduce exposure to hazardous substances be properly maintained and regularly examined and tested.

Regulation 9 requires LEV systems to be tested at least every 14 months. From experience, many workplaces are using LEV systems which have either not been tested or are not working effectively.
